Kişilerin kendilerini ilgilendiren konularda, karar verici

konumda olmayı istemelerinden doğal bir şey yoktur. Bu gerçekten

yola çıkan toplumsal barış arayışları, sosyal diyalog mekanizmaları-

işlevini gerektiği gibi yerine getirip getiremediğini tartışmaktadır.

Abstract:

There is almost nothing more natural than the

individual’s desire to be a decision maker on the issues that are per-

tinent his/her life. Taking action based on this truth, the search for

social peace has given birth to mechanisms of social dialogue. This

social dialogue mechanism is represented by The National Occupati-

onal Health and Safety Council at the national level. First, this study

points at the importance of social dialogue and then it discusses

whether the National Occupational Health and Safety Council is able

to carry out its function of social dialogue at the desired/required

level.
